Kabbalah (Hebrew: קַבָּלָה) is a type of Jewish mysticism that explains the relationship between G-d, who is infinite, and the finite world that he created where human beings live. One of the very first rabbis in the Americas, Rabbi Isaac Aboab da Fonseca (1605-1693) of Recife, was a great kabbalist.
