Neve Shalom Spanish Town

Not to be confused with the Neve Shalom synagogue in Paramaribo, Neve Shalom Spanish Town was built in 1704 and was a Portuguese synagogue. Although it fell into ruin in the early twentieth century and was destroyed, the interior was originally quite elegant. The synagogue was styled after Bevis Marks in London.
