(1780-1837). Although he was born and died in New York, Joshua lived in several other cities during his life, most notably Philadelphia and London. He started off working in the firm of his father Isaac Moses but eventually became partners with his brother Solomon Moses and then his brother-in-law Isaac Lopez Brandon. He married Sarah Rodrigues Brandon in London.
